Do not keep the door open for a long time
Too much ice in the freezer is caused by leaving the freezer door open for too long. That is, there is a type of warm air that can combine with cold air to form ice in the freezer. Therefore, never keep the refrigerator door open for too long.
Keep the refrigerator away from the wall
The fridge should not be kept close to the wall. Because the hot air comes from outside the freezer, but the back wall does not allow the air to come out properly, due to which the freezer starts freezing. Keep proper distance between the fridge and the wall and there should be adequate ventilation in the place where the fridge is kept. The distance to the wall behind the frieze should be at least 6 inches and the distance to the ceiling on either side should be at least 4 inches. Because of this gap, the hot air from the compressor does not hit the wall and then come back to the compressor.
Do not keep hot and cold things together
Most people put hot food or other items directly in the deep freezer to cool them. When you keep a hot thing in a cold environment, it starts getting moisture. Due to which ice freezes, if you keep any food item in the freezer, keep it only after it cools down normally. Thus, ice does not freeze quickly in the freezer.

Don't pack the freezer
Generally it is seen that during the summer season, not one or two but ten to fifteen items are stored in the freezer. Putting ten or fifteen items in the freezer at once means you're running out of space. This increases the air pressure, which causes ice to freeze in the freezer. Therefore, you should not keep more than two or three things in the deep freezer.
