The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary has announced the academic calendar for the new year. The academic calendar for the next academic year the year 2023-2024 has been announced. Dates of Supplementary Exam Prelims Exam as well as Annual Exam for the year 2023-24 have been announced. Apart from this, all the dates including Diwali and summer vacation have been announced.
Diwali vacation will be 21 days
The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary has announced the calendar for the upcoming new academic session. According to the new academic calendar, the first session of schools will start from 5th June and there will be Diwali vacation from 9th September to 29th September. Diwali vacation will be 21 days. In the next session, the school will be entitled to 19 holidays throughout the year. In this session, the board exam will be conducted from 11 March 2024 to 28 March 2024.
First Semester Date : 05-06-2023 to 08-11-2023 (124 Days)
Second Semester Date : 30-11-2023 to 05-05-2024 (127 Days)
The second session will start from November 30
The school examination will be held from 8 April 2024 and the summer vacation will be 35 days from 6 May 2024. According to the information given by the state education department, the practical exam of class 12 science will start from February 19. So the first session exam will be conducted from October 3. Students will get a total of 80 days of Day Off Holidat in the new academic year 2023-24. The second semester will start from November 30 2023.
